transgressions of the past haunt me
my soul is heavy with regret
how i long for her to see
that which i shall never forget
though i appear strong
much fear in me there is
to return to days long gone
and the people i truely miss
i give no thought to what i do
for my heart guides my path
but to live only for you
through the aftermath
of sorrow and grief
and times long forgotten
i know not my beliefs
my brain near rotten
so i give you my word
i swear not on true love
to give you the world
and all there is of
this body and soul
that yearns for your touch
for my princess you are
who else could give you so much?
